Education Department – Yates named chair of education department at LaGrange
Margie Yates, assistant professor of education, has been named the new chair of the education department at LaGrange College.
She replaces Don Livingston who has led the department for five years and is returning to teaching.
Yates has been at LaGrange College since 2005.
A University of Georgia graduate, she got her master’s at Columbus State University and doctorate at Auburn University.
