International student loans for higher education ?
I am currently studying in the USA and am to attend in 2011 than expected electrical engineer. Even if I am satisfied with my training, I would go to grad school to learn more about renewable energy. The problem is, I have no means (and I do not want to ask more money for my parents because they paid so much money my training). I was hoping that I am a private loan that can help me to find. Many of my online research, I found that the loan will receive a foreign student must have a co-signer if you can not. I wonder if there is no possibility of a loan without a co-signer. I have a Social Security number and other personal information if it can help me. In addition, I will be a student, I would probably reduce subsidy / grants that my cost of education. So I hope to work as an assistant teacher and I hope that I will need a very small loan can I pay for less than 2 years. Any suggestions?
For private loans, you need a cosigner (if you get the loan from a U.S. bank signatories must be) usually a U.S. citizen w good credit. You can see if you can get a private loan in your home country that your parents can co-sign for you to repay, but.
Even if you have a Social Security number, I doubt you can file a FAFSA and receive federal student loans that U.S. citizens and permanent residents to use for graduate studies.
I just want to only participate in a program in the United States if you provide a Post Graduate Assistant. This will make your training more affordable and come in cases, say that you do not even need to borrow.
