Do you need to take physical education at the university, if you want to major in nursing?

I want to major in nursing and told a friend told me that physical education is recommended. Is it absolutely necessary to take this class? Or is it optional? I am attending

two-year college by the way, and I want to transfer to a 4-year college.

Yes, it is a basic requirement. I am a nurse and go back to school, a higher level. This field is terrible. Oh yes, I hope you’re really good at math and science .. there is so much

science in nursing.
