Student loans. How do I know about this?

I asked a community college and I will begin classes this fall. I asked for financial support, but are not eligible. How do I get information about a student loan? I do not want to go to a bank for a loan. Should I contact the financial aid department has a student loan? Thank you

I assume that you already submitted a FAFSA form. If not, do so immediately, as it the high state and federal loans and grants available if qualify you want.

Financial Aid Department is a great place to start. They will probably give you information on private scholarships, grants and loans.
